Nurse discovers her colleague was the premature baby she cared for 28 years ago

In 1990, a neonatal intensive care nurse Vilma Wong cared for a premature child Brandon Seminatore, who weighed about 1kg. This year, she discovered that her new colleague was the child she cared for 28 years ago. 

Brandon Seminatore, a second-year pediatric neurology resident at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Stanford, California, recently began working with nurse Vilma Wong. Wong immediately thought Brandon's name sounds familiar so she made inquiries and discovered he was the preemie she cared for years ago.

Temi, the daughter of oil magnate Femi Otedola and girlfriend to singer, Mr Eazi, has just graduated from the University College London with a Bachelors Degree in History of Art.

She shared the news on her Instagram with a photo of herself in her graduation gown and mortarboard, posing with her dad and mum Femi and Nana Otedola.

President Buhari delivered an opening speech at the high-level dialogue between Chinese and Nigerian leaders in China

President Buhari who is currently in China delivered an opening speech today at Forum on China–Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).

According to the President, 'China is today, the largest investor in the sub-region in both private and public sectors covering areas such as infrastructure, energy, agriculture, mining, healthcare. China also provides significant assistance in emergency humanitarian aid and response to climate change'.

Nigerian goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama part ways with French Ligue One club, Lille

Former Nigeria captain Vincent Enyeama has left French club Lille after having his contract ended in common assent.

 “The 36-year-old shot-stopper who missed the entire season last year recuperating from a meniscus injury he sustained in April 2017 is, however, free to join any club of his choice after spending seven years at the club.

"After seven years, the adventure ends now and I can only thank the club and supporters for the amazing love," Enyeama told BBC Sport. 

Enyeama helped the club to the 2016 French League cup final where they were edged by giants Paris St-Germain. With 17 clean sheets from 35 league games in the 2013/14 season, he emerged as the first goalkeeper to be named French Ligue 1 African Player of the Season.  

Lille paid a glowing tribute to the player on its website and wrote that: "Beyond his performances, Lille and the supporters will remember Vincent's smile and enthusiasm. The club now wishes him the best in his future projects."

Pastor commits suicide after long battle with depression and anxiety

The senior pastor of the Inland Hill Church in California, USA, Andrew Stoecklein, has died after committing suicide following a long battle with depression and anxiety.

Members of Inland Hills Church in Chino, California, are now grappling with grief after their lead pastor, Andrew Stoecklein, succumbed to self-inflicted injuries Saturday after a battle with depression and anxiety, his church said. He was 30.
