Pakistani model Anam Tanoli, 26, commits suicide after battle with severe depression

Tanoli, a fashion designer one of the rising stars in the new generation of models in the Pakistani fashion industry, had returned from Italy some two months back.

Anam Tanoli, a fashion model from Pakistan, was found dead at her residence in Lahore on Saturday. 

Police sources have revealed that the 26-year-old had committed suicide and was found hanging from her ceiling fan at her residence in the Defence area, according to police.

The body was shifted to the General Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Probe underway to look into the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death in a house in the Lahore's Defence neighborhood

Further investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of her suicide.
