Miss Universe 2018 is set to
hold in Bangkok, Thailand and Steve
Harvey is returning as the host for the pageant for the fourth
time in a row.
Steve Harvey made an infamous
snafu in the 2015 pageant, in which
he misread the card and announced Miss Colombia as the winner instead of actual
winner Miss Philippines.
The event will hold on
December 16 and It will air in over 190 countries and be seen by more than half
a billion people.

PayPal earnings top estimates, but revenue position falls short
PayPal earnings topped Wall Street estimates on Wednesday but the company's third-quarter revenue outlook fell short.
According to CNBC the company did compare with what Wall Street expected:
- Earnings per share: 58 cents vs. 57 cents, forecast by Thomson Reuters
- · Revenue: $3.86 billion vs. $3.81 billion, forecast by Thomson Reuters
"That revenue figure represents 23 percent growth, from the $3.14
billion PayPal reported in the year-ago quarter. For the third quarter,
PayPal's profit forecast was in line with analyst expectations, but its revenue
outlook missed. The company said it expects adjusted earnings per share between
53 cents and 55 cents on revenue between $3.62 billion and $3.67 billion.
Analysts had projected third-quarter earnings of 54 cents a share on revenue of
$3.71 billion, according to Thomson Reuters consensus estimates."

Hollywood Actor Anthony Anderson under Investigation over Alleged Assault on a Woman
Black-ish star Anthony Anderson is currently being investigated by Los Angeles Police following a crime report by a woman after she catered an event thrown by the actor.
The Blast reports that the incident happened over a year ago after she met the actor while working at an event he threw. Sources close to the situation tell us she felt comfortable enough to come forward months after the alleged incident occurred, due in part to the “#MeToo movement.”
LAPD has confirmed to the The Blast, “We have a crime report listing him as a suspect in a crime,” and added, “It is an open investigation.”
The specific details regarding the alleged assault are currently unclear.
A spokesperson for Anderson tells us, “It’s unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false. The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes the claim.”
