Nigeria has taken a step up
the FIFA
Football Ranking List. In the newly released list,
the Super Eagles rose to 1415 points to finish 48th in
the month of September. The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Seychelles
3-0 on Sept. 8 to put themselves back in contention for a place at the 2019
Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.
This has improved Nigeria's
position from 6th to the 5th best football national team in Africa.
