Professional mourners in Ghana make a living by attending the funerals of strangers to cry

Talking with BBC Africa, one of the women named Ami Dokli, said some people don’t know how to cry when they lose a relative so they pick her to cry for them. She also said they are all widows and decided to start the crying business to help those who do not know how to cry. They charge on how big the burial is and how it’s being celebrated.
