Media Proprietor Oprah Winfrey just signed a Hollywood content deal with the Tech giant Apple. The deal will not affect Oprah's OWN, the content that she launched in 2011.
"Together, Winfrey and Apple will create original programs that embrace her incomparable ability to connect with audiences around the world," the company said in a statement Friday. "Winfrey's projects will be released as part of a lineup of original content from Apple."
Sources say the deal will include everything from TV, to books, film and other contents which will be distributed on all Apple's platform.
Apple had previously signed deals with Reese Witherspoon and Steven Spielberg. Apple is said to have aggressively pursued Winfrey as part of a larger push to reach a broad audience.
