Hello People! Do you want to eat unripe plantain while in Africa or out of Africa? Plaintain is everywhere around the world. There are so many nutritional values that plantain offers: fiber, vitamins, magnesium, and potassium. Garnish the plantain with vegetable and get a good taste of it.
Plantain porridge can serve as lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
Unripe plantain ( Banana Plantain)
Vegetable leave ( Any type )
Onions
Fresh Pepper
Palm Oil
Ground crayfish
Unground crayfish
Salt
Seasoning (Knorr)
Preparation:
Step 1: Peel the plantain and chopped it into cubes and add to the boiling pot of water, cover and allow to cook for about 20 to 30mins till it softens.
Step 2: Add unground crayfish, chopped onion, salt, seasoning (Knorr) and fresh pepper. Cover and allow to cook some more.
Step 3: Add some crayfish again (this gives extra flavor), add palm oil and add your sliced vegetables, cover and allow to cook for like 5 minutes on a lower heat. Check for salt and seasoning for taste. Mix or mash everything together using a spoon.
It can go with any form of pepper soup ( Goat, fish chicken ).
Ready to serve!!!
