Kim Kardashian feels very lucky to have her third child, Chicago, in her life. Kim Kardashian says she believes her last child Chicago West was made to look like her for a reason.

The reality star, who had Chicago with the help of a surrogate sat with Ashley Graham for Pretty Big Deal on Tuesday, the 37-year-old TV star added she was especially grateful to have the child - who is now eight months old - look just like her.

'She is such a doll. She looks like, honestly, my twin mixed with Saint. It’s like the two of us in her,' said the wife of Kanye West.

Missing Chinese Actress Fined For Tax Fraud

Chinese superstar Fan Bingbing has been fined with over880 million RMB ($128 million) for tax evasion and other offenses by China tax authorities.

The star, who disappeared in July, posted a long apology on social media.

Ms. Fan, who is one of China's highest paid actors, will escape criminal charges if the fines are paid on time, said state news agency Xinhua.

The actress had been linked to a government probe into how celebrities reported earnings in their contracts.

Malaysian police arrest man believed to have 'jokingly' put 3-year-old nephew in washing machine

Police on Tuesday (Oct 2) arrested the uncle of a three-year-old boy who was found trapped inside a washing machine at a self-service laundry in Bukit Sentosa, Rawang.

“The suspect is believed to have ‘jokingly’ put his nephew in the machine causing the victim to be trapped for about 20 minutes," Hulu Selangor district police chief Supt Lim Bak Phai said.

“The victim was then rescued with the help of the public and police and he was unhurt."

US first lady arrives in Ghana for solo Africa trip

US First Lady Melania Trump has visited a hospital in Ghana’s capital, Accra, at the start of her solo trip that will see her visit four African countries.

Earlier at the airport, she was welcomed by dancers and drummers but the public reaction has been low key.

The tour, which also takes in Kenya, Malawi, and Egypt, will focus on promoting health and education.
The visit, alongside Ghana’s First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, to Accra’s Ridge Hospital set the tone for the trip as a whole.

Melania jets off for her first overseas trip alone

Melania Trump has departed for a week-long tour of Africa, her first major international trip without the president by her side.
The first lady smiled and waved at photographers as she prepared to board a military jet at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland just as the sun began to set on Monday evening.
Melania is scheduled to arrive in Accra, Ghana, on Tuesday and will continue her tour with stops in Malawi, Kenya, and Egypt.


Flood: Dickson Orders Closure Of All Schools in Bayelsa State

Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has ordered the immediate closure of all schools in the state to avoid loss of lives due to the current flooding in the state.

The governor also set up a special committee to facilitate prompt and effective response to the flood emergency in the state.

A large number of communities in almost all the local government areas had been seriously affected by the flooding, especially in Ekeremor, Sagbama, Ogbia, Southern Ijaw LGAs.

Cleric, 16 Pregnant Women Arrested At Baby Factory

A cleric and 16 pregnant women have been arrested by operatives of the Rivers State Police Command.

The suspects were arrested after operatives of the Command raided a suspected baby factory in Port Harcourt belonging to the cleric identified as Glory Raphael.

Apart from the 16 pregnant girls, three other persons helping the cleric to run the baby factory were also apprehended.

The State Commissioner of Police, Zaki Ahmed, told newsmen on Saturday that Raphael was engaged in child trafficking in the guise of operating a legal business.


Ahmed, who had earlier paraded 39 suspected armed robbers, kidnappers and cultists in Port Harcourt, said that the police were able to get hold of the hoodlums through the efforts of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, State Criminal Intelligence, and Investigation Department.

“Men of the Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department in a sting operation on Friday stormed the premises of one Gloria Raphael, who is the General Overseer of Mount Sinai Ministry at Rukpokwu. She is into the business of child trafficking.

“Sixteen pregnant women awaiting delivery and onward sale of the children to the waiting buyers were arrested. One of them by name Chinyere Nweke had labor yesterday (Friday) and was rushed to the police clinic where she gave birth to a baby girl,” Ahmed said.

Southern City News observed that those arrested were below 18 years, but were pregnant.

When asked why she was arrested, Gloria Raphael stated, “There was a day my sister, Esther Joseph, called me to come and help her; that somebody was sick.

President Buhari Accepts Mama Taraba's Resignation


President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the resignation of the minister of women affairs, Aisha Alhassan popularly known as Mama Taraba.

Alhassan tendered her resignation on Saturday following her disqualification from the governorship race of Taraba State by the All Progressives Congress.

The death toll from Indonesia's quake and tsunami disaster nearly doubled to 832 Sunday and was expected to rise further, prompting authorities to announce mass burials in a desperate attempt to stave off disease.

As shattered survivors scoured make-shift morgues for loved ones, and authorities struggled to dig out the living or assess the scale of the devastation beyond the city of Palu, grim warnings came that the eventual toll could reach thousands.

"The casualties will keep increasing," said national disaster agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, whose agency announced the jump in the toll from 420 earlier.

Aisha Alhassan is the second minister to quit this month. Kemi Adeosun stepped down as finance minister over the alleged forgery of a document exempting her from compulsory national service.
"Today, the 29th of September 2018, I wish to transmit to the President my decision to resign as the Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and withdraw my membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC)," Alhassan tweeted.
